The fastest way to reach us is the phone. Call (855) 575-2890 any time, day or night, seven days a week. We do not use online forms or chat, because a plumbing problem is easier to solve by talking it through.
This page covers how to reach us, what to have ready, and what to do in the first few minutes of a leak, a backup or a gas smell. Read it once now and keep it handy. Save the number in your phone while you are at it.
How to reach us
Contact details
- Phone, open 24 hours, 7 days: (855) 575-2890.
- Dispatch base: 3340 Paul Davis Dr, Marina, CA 93933.
- Email for non-urgent questions: contact@247plumbermarina.com.
Tell us your address first, so that if the call drops we know where to send help. The Paul Davis Dr address is where our dispatch operates. It is not a walk-in office, so please call before you drive over.
For anything urgent, use the phone. Email is not the place for a flood or a backup. If you do write, include your address and a phone number so we can call you back.
What to have ready when you call
A few details help us send the right plumber with the right parts. You do not need every one of them, and we will ask for anything missing.
- Your street address and any gate or unit number.
- What you see, hear or smell, and when it started.
- Which fixtures are affected and which still work.
- Whether you have closed the main water valve.
- The age and fuel type of the water heater, if that is the issue.
- The best number to reach you at if the call drops.
Shutoff steps before anyone arrives
Close the main water valve
Find the valve where the line enters the house, often near the meter or by the water heater. Turn it clockwise until it stops.
Stop using drains
If sewage or water is backing up, do not run sinks, showers, dishwashers or washing machines.
Shut off the water heater
If the tank is leaking, turn off its power or gas control and close the cold water supply valve above it.
Stay clear of electricity
Do not touch outlets, panels or appliances standing in water. Switch the breaker off only if you can reach it dry.
If you smell gas
Do not call us first. Leave the building right away, avoid switches and flames, and call 911 from a safe distance. Then call the gas utility. For PG&E, the number is 1-800-743-5000. Do not return until the utility says it is safe. We can help with plumbing after that.
