Marina, our home zone

Marina has 23,256 residents by the Census Bureau's 2025 estimate, and 42.9 percent of its homes are owner-occupied. That means many callers rent, and we work with landlords and managers regularly. Marina Coast Water District supplies the city from wells, and its 2025 report puts hardness at 10.54 grains per gallon on average. Hard water leaves scale in water heaters, so a yearly flush helps.

Several Marina neighborhoods began as Fort Ord military housing. Preston Park has 352 townhouse-style units that the Army built in 1989. Abrams Park is the name of a former Fort Ord family housing area in South Marina. We do not know what pipe is in any specific unit, so we inspect before we quote a repair.

Newer parts of town differ. Marina Station is a planned community in northern Marina near Del Monte Boulevard and Marina Greens Drive, and The Dunes on Monterey Bay is a master-planned community with a shopping area. Newer construction usually means newer plumbing, but any home can still have a leak. For leaks in any of these, our leak detection visit finds the source first.

Landmarks help us find you. Marina State Beach sits at the end of Reservation Road, and Locke-Paddon Wetland Community Park is next to the Marina Library on Seaside Circle. Fort Ord Dunes State Park and Marina Dunes Preserve are also nearby. The former Fort Ord land touches both Marina and Seaside, which is one reason the two cities share some housing history.

Seaside and Castroville pages

Our Seaside page covers ZIP 93955, the city's three water providers, and older housing. Seaside's own housing plan says about 77 percent of its homes were built before 1980, so many call about aging drains and water heaters.

Our Castroville page covers ZIP 95012 and the Castroville Community Services District. Castroville is a census-designated place, so water and sewer come from the district. It also covers winter rain, hard water and the farm-town business mix.

How dispatch decides coverage

When you call, we ask for the street address, the nearest cross street and what is happening. We then check whether we can reach the address and who is available. We do not promise arrival times, because Highway 1 traffic, weather and road work change the trip. We do offer same-day appointments when available, and we give a clear price before work starts.

  1. Call the line

Dial (855) 575-2890 any hour. Tell us the address and the problem.

  2. Shut off what we say

We tell you which valve to close and which fixtures to leave alone.

  3. Confirm the price

You hear a clear price before work starts.

Gas smells are different. Leave the building, call 911 from a safe distance, and then call your gas utility. We do not give response times for gas leaks.

Services you can ask about in any area

The same work is available across the places above. See all plumbing services for the full list. Common calls include drain cleaning, water heater repair and sewer line repair.

If your town is not listed, call anyway. We would rather tell you honestly that we cannot reach an address than leave you waiting. You can also read about Marina 24/7 Plumbing and how we work.
